hi im looking for a job i have looked and had no luck please help!!

I got an inheritance, got laid off, spent it on drugs, didn’t get a job…crashed and burned. I’m middle class, otherwise together, good work history, credit’s not bad. I can’t get a co-signer, and I’m living in a pay-by-the-week hotel. What are my chances of getting a studio-1 bedroom that’s not a slum? I’m a white male.

I have been an RR since 1997. Currently at an order entry desk but would like to trade for profit. Does anyone have a place to recommend. Ones I have looked at want me to put up my own money, like $20-50k or have said I am over qualified. Please let me know if there are openings out there. My friend was sick with cancer,she took off 8 months to take kemo treatments, she got behind in her bills, and now her landlord wants her to move, will not renew the lease, she is back at work now, but need to make about 3 to 4 paycheck to start saving for rent and security, she would like to move in a good safe hotel at a reasonable cost, for about a month, are their any hotel that charge you byweekly, or by months, and not by a every day rate. She need some were to stay,her job is in the up town area on the north side of Chicago ill any suggestion. No fun and games please. serious answers.

I have a Bachelors Degree from Chicago State University and I do not have a paying job since 2001. However, I have been performing some home-base experiments on cyanobacteria and Penicillium, and some library research on panbiogeography. Is it easy to get a job in the city of Chicago while living in the suburbs (Schaumburg), or are employers hesitant to hire someone with a suburban address? Would it be better if I moved into the city to look for jobs? i really want to live in the city. The only jobs I’ve had thus far have been retail.

Ok so I’m going to graduate college in a year (may 2010) and am hoping to get a paralegal job in Chicago soon after. I have been to chicago a few times but iv always been in the same spot like the michigan mile kinda thing. I’m going to be looking for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment somewhat close (meaning like 5 blocks or less) to the metra. If anyone could give me some suggestions on good neighborhoods that are safe and have somewhat of a night life that’d be great. I’m looking to pay about $400 – $500 a month for rent including utilities.
ANY suggestions would help!
Well i was looking on rent.com and found apartments for 400-500 a month so i’m not sure why i would need to pay 1500 a month? i’m not looking for a condo a simple studio will do. parking i can deal with don’t most cities have parking permits? like you pay a yearly fee, thats how wisconsin does it not sure if illinois does too. and i don’t mind being 30 min away if i have to as long as i’m close to the metra i’d be fine.
